Uniswap users can now use Robinhood Connect to purchase cryptocurrency using their Robinhood funds via debit card or bank transfer.
Robinhood Connect became available this week to users of the Uniswap mobile app, a decentralized exchange (DEX). said Monday’s statement. The service enables cryptocurrency purchases on Uniswap according to the protocol and is one of three providers, joining Coinbase Pay and Moonpay.
The first Robinhood Connect user to purchase $10 in cryptocurrency on the Uniswap app will receive $10 worth of USDC into their RobinHood account.
Robinhood Connect’s integration with Uniswap comes just weeks after the service launched on hotwallet application MetaMask.
The expansion of Robinhood’s Connect service for cryptocurrency traders comes as the trading platform conducts deeper research into cryptocurrencies. Last week, Robinhood listed four new cryptocurrency tokens for New York users.
