- WAX Blockchain provides a comprehensive Web3 toolkit, including Cloud Wallet and Developer Portal.
- Under the partnership, AMB on AWS will integrate WAX’s Web3 gaming tools suite.
- This partnership provides developers with seamless access to blockchain infrastructure through the AWS console.
In a groundbreaking move, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and WAX Blockchain have teamed up to revolutionize Web3 gaming tools.
The collaboration aims to mark an important milestone in the advancement of decentralized applications (dApps) by streamlining the integration of blockchain functions, especially within the gaming industry.
Partnership signed to improve Web3 gaming tools
Under the partnership, Amazon Managed Blockchain (AMB), a fully managed service from AWS, will integrate support for WAX’s Web3 suite of tools.
WAX, known as the Worldwide Asset Exchange, serves as a blockchain ecosystem offering gaming and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
By integrating into AMB, WAX provides developers with seamless access to blockchain infrastructure through the AWS console. The integration streamlines the deployment process, allowing developers to easily build on both the WAX mainnet and testnet.
Additionally, WAX provides a comprehensive toolkit including Cloud Wallet, Single-Sign-On service, basic random number generation, developer portal, cross-chain bridge, and blockchain explorer to further enhance the development experience.
Lukas Sliwka, CTO of WAX, emphasized the importance of partnerships in driving mass adoption of Web3 technologies. He highlighted the ability of collaboration to enable developers from both blockchain-based and traditional Web2 backgrounds to seamlessly integrate decentralized functionality.
Dimitri Nikolaros of BountyBlok, a top 21 block producer on WAX, agreed with Sliwka and emphasized the importance of combining blockchain and existing Web2 frameworks to maximize the potential of next-generation applications.
WAX’s Influence Increases in Web3
WAX Blockchain’s custom tools and incentive mechanisms are tailored to enhance the usability of blockchain technology in various sectors.
With over 140 Web3 games powered by WAX and millions of transactions per month, the platform continues to solidify its position as a key player in the Web3 ecosystem.
Notably, the collaboration with AWS builds on WAX’s existing relationship with Amazon, including the inclusion of the WAX-based trading card game Brawlers in the Amazon Prime Gaming service. This partnership highlights WAX’s commitment to driving innovation within the gaming industry and beyond as WAX continues to pave the way for widespread adoption of Web3 applications.
