Dubai will host the third edition of Crypto Fight Night (CFN), a competition combining cryptocurrency and boxing hosted by the WBC Crypto World Championship.
The event will feature cryptocurrency experts in the ring in what organizers call one of the biggest sporting events in the cryptocurrency industry.
CFN 2023 is scheduled for November 24 and will be held at the Yume Theater at the Ramee Dream Hotel in downtown Dubai. There are 16 bouts scheduled for the event, five of which are scheduled title bouts.
The main event will see 2022 WBC Crypto World Champion Trading Lord defend his title against rising star Krown.
The highly contested Crypto Fight Night TV title will see Aaron Chalmers, known as an influential figure on MTV, take on Warren “The Mechanic” Spencer. Led by Andrew Tate, Spencer says he is ready for battle and promises war from the opening bell.
Over the past few years, Dubai has become one of the global capitals of the cryptocurrency industry thanks to new laws to regulate digital assets. Many companies are eyeing the cryptocurrency-friendly jurisdiction as a new digital asset hub in the Middle East. Specifically, in 2022, the government’s Virtual Asset Regulatory Agency (VARA) was established in the Emirate of Dubai to regulate virtual assets and virtual asset service providers (Dubai Virtual Assets Act).
