MetaMask is expanding its global presence with key partnerships in Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, and Chile.
In a post by X on December 8, MetaMask, a well-known software cryptocurrency wallet, revealed new partnerships in Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Egypt, and Chile.
As stated in the announcement, MetaMask is working with VietQR and Mobile Money in Vietnam, GCash in the Philippines, QRIS in Indonesia, Thai QR in Thailand, Vodafone Cash in Egypt, and Webpay in Chile. This collaboration provides users with localized options.
MetaMask has also expanded its reach into Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan and Korea through strategic partnerships with borderless payment solutions Unlimit and TransFi.
The Buy Aggregator feature is said to be accessible across a variety of MetaMask platforms, including mobile apps and browser extensions, and directly within the MetaMask portfolio.
Along with announcing growth, MetaMask recently experienced transaction issues for mobile users in v7.9.0.
After fixing the bug on November 15, MetaMask advised mobile users to immediately update their app to the latest version, 7.10.0, as a precautionary measure. The wallet provider stated in a post on November 14 that issues with the previous version affected a limited number of users.
